Continuing Education Units

Aquaveo offers Continuing Education Units (convertible to PDHs) to assist customers in meeting state registration board requirements for P.E. license renewal. Aquaveo voluntarily complies with the definitions and standards set by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. However, Aquaveo is not an IACET authorized provider.

Aquaveo does not seek approval of our courses for credit with professional or certifying organizations. Therefore, if applicable, please check with your professional or certifying organization to determine their specific requirements and to request pre-approval of our courses. Acceptance of CEUs is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized method of quantifying the time spent in the classroom during professional development and training activities to record and account for continuing education activities. In all recognized educational circles, one CEU is equal to ten (10) contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

In most cases, a Professional Development Hour (PDH) represents the "contact" hours, meaning the hours spent in training.
0.1 CEU (1 hour of instruction) is equivalent to 1 PDH unit
1.0 CEU (10 hours of instruction) is equivalent to 10 PDH units
