RMA2 Model
RMA2 is a finite element, hydrodynamic model for 2D subcritical flow analysis. It is part of the TABS analysis package maintained by the USACE Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).

Features
- General purpose 2D depth-averaged steady state and transient flow model
- Accepts a wide variety of boundery conditions
- Model up to 5 different types of 1D flow control structures
- Simulate wetting and drying events
- Apply wind stress either uniformally over the model domain or as a storm event
Applications
- General purpose model designed for far-field problems
- Flow distribution around islands
- Flow at bridges having one or more relief openings
- Flow in contracting/expanding reaches and at river junctions
- General water levels and flow patterns in rivers, reservoirs, and estuaries
