RMA4 Model
RMA4 is a water quality model used to simulate advection-diffusion processes used in an aquatic environment. As a component of the TABS-MD suite of models, RMA4 utilizes flow fields generated by RMA2 to track constituent transport.

Features
- Utilize 1D/2D geometry and hydrodynamics from GFGEN and RMA2
- Apply boundery condition concentrations by node, line, or element mass loading
- Account for rainfall/evaporation that was specified in RMA2
- Handle all 1D flow control structures from the RMA2 model
- Compute mass flux at geometry check line locations
Applications
- General purpose advection-diffusion model for aquatic environments
- Model horizontal salinity distribution
- Trace temperature effects from power plants
- Monitor water quality criteria for wildlife and fish habitats
- Calculate constituent residence time in harbors or basins
